Annual Board Meeting and Awards Luncheon

CTHA will celebrate it’s 20th Anniversary and hold its 11th annual Awards Luncheon in 2020. This event, which attracts over 200 health care and community leaders, is recognized as one of the premier events in the region that focuses on health equity and disparities. The event features a key note speaker and/or esteemed panel discussion addressing a current critical health issue. The luncheon also presents awards of recognition to those who have made significant contributions to health and health equity in the Mid-South region.

This free, educational, and fun community-wide event takes place in February and is open to breast cancer patients, survivors, and caretakers. Last year, over one-third of participants were brand new to this special event which seeks to honor and celebrate these women while educating them about pertinent topics and the community resources available. We focus on the importance of early detection and encouraging friends/loved ones to get their annual mammogram screenings. We anticipate over 750 attendees this coming year!

Participants are provided the opportunity to receive a mammogram onsite at the event.
